Emerging Technology for the reconstruction of the Torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL); The Arthroscopic Double Bundle Technique.

The focus of the lab is the study of human joint and tissue mechanics using different mechanical engineering methods to test and to evaluate joint function, the effects of injury and surgical tissue reconstruction. In addition, methods to describe and characterize joint anatomy is ongoing and as well as studies in tissue mechanical behavior using experimental and computational methods.
