Orthopaedic Surgery residents, Drs. Cortez Brown, Zach Herman, Stephanie Boden along with Dr. Jonathan Hughes represented the Dept of Orthopaedic Surgery at Pitt’s Sports Medicine Education Fair, sponsored by the Pitt Sport Medicine Minority Outreach Group. This group is student organization at the Univ of Pittsburgh that aims to create safe spaces to discuss issues of Diversity & Inclusion in sports medicine while also trying to find ways to increase resources and support for minority college students interested in pursuing careers in the field.
