Congratulations to Monique C. Chambers, MD, MSL, on her selection as a 2017 40 Under 40 Leader in Health Awardee.
The National Minority Quality Forum established the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Awards to honor influential young minority leaders making a difference in health care. Winners were honored at the 2017 NMQF Leadership Summit on Health Disparities and CBC Spring Health Braintrust.
Currently, Dr. Chambers is an Academic Health Sciences & Quality Improvement Research Fellow with the UPMC Wolff Quality, Safety and Innovation Center and serves as Director of Outcomes Research for Nth Dimensions Inc, a non-profit that seeks to increase the number of women and underrepresented minorities in surgical specialties.
