Dr. Albert Lin Awarded SOM's Mentoring Merit Award

Dr. Albert Lin was recognized this past week at the annual University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine Faculty Mentor Awards. Dr. Lin was awarded the Medical Student Research Mentoring Merit Award, which celebrates faculty that demonstrate significant impact in guiding their mentees through their research project effort. Dr. Lin is no stranger to being a great mentor. He was also a recipient of the Philip Troen Excellence in Medical Student Research Mentoring Award last year. This distinction is based on graduating University of Pittsburgh student recommendations for outstanding mentoring over the course of their longitudinal research project.

PittOrtho seeks to be a leader in educating the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons through its residency and fellowship training programs. We are proud to have mentors like Dr. Lin on our team!
