Verena Schreiber, MD, selected as AAOS Resident Assembly Vice Chair

Verena Schreiber, MD, was selected to serve as the Vice Chair for the AAOS Resident Assembly. In 2015, Dr. Schreiber was elected by her peers as an inaugural officer to the AAOS Resident Assembly.

The Vice Chair’s role is an integral part to the Resident Assembly’s growth and function. In her role, Dr. Schreiber will manage the Resident Assembly Action Item process and will serve as an integral member of the Executive Committee. The Resident Assembly Executive Committee holds two meetings per year.

The AAOS Resident Assembly gives orthopaedic residents a unique community and an active voice within the Academy. It also serves as a vehicle to enable residents to become involved in the AAOS early in their careers.

Dr. Schreiber is currently a Super Chief in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Clinical Instructor appointment with the University of Pittsburgh.
